CMI is a small company with big company capabilities. While the full time employee count is small, the company is able to take on assignments of considerable scope and complexity because of its network of capable associates.

Joe Perkins, President & FounderJoseph W. Perkins is the president and founder of Communication Management. Joe’s background in marketing and sales has been essential in successfully helping thousands of business professionals enhance their skills in organizing and delivering messages that drive results. Joe is passionate about providing professionals with the necessary tools to expand their skills in presenting ideas effectively verbally or in written correspondence. Joe received degrees from Brandeis and Syracuse Universities. |

Lisa Eisenhard, Operations ManagerLisa is the nerve center of Communication Management. As Operations Manager, she makes certain that all CMI programs are implemented in the most efficient manner possible. She handles all of the administrative details, making certain that clients’ needs are met expeditiously, accurately and thoroughly. Lisa was formerly in document management for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. |

Dave GriffithsDave Griffiths is a free-lance writer and editor who lives in Maine and travels widely to do writing and media and presentation skills training for clients ranging from the U.S. Coast Guard to the Red Cross to the Department of Homeland Security to senior executives at a variety of federal agencies to businesses that need help with both technical writing and written sales proposals. His professional background is journalism, having reported for the Kansas City Star and covered national security for several publications, including Business Week magazine. After leaving Washington, Dave was a member of the Penn State journalism faculty for six years. He has a degree in English from the University of Virginia and a masters in journalism from the University of Missouri. Dave served as a U.S. Army field artillery officer in Germany and Vietnam. He lives with his wife and two sons in a small town in Maine, where he publishes a municipal newsletter. Dave also belongs to three school boards. |

She has served as the communications director for a major healthcare organization, where she was responsible for all publications and web site content. Sara graduated cum laude from Mount Holyoke College. |

John ParrottJohn Parrott is a veteran of the world of publishing and communication. John has managed groups, divisions, departments, and small companies. Having begun his career in London, John has had a vast variety of assignments, from journalist to radio anchor to executive producer of radio and television programming. His strong media background provides CMI clients with a wealth of knowledge when he conducts presentation and videoconferencing skills training. |

She has worked on the development of CMI’s curricula, as well as conducted training classes in a variety of business writing and meeting management workshops. Mykie has degrees from Pace University (B. A.) and Cambridge College (M.Ed). |

Ilana G. TraverseIlana G. Traverse brings CMI a diverse and extensive background in learning and development as a consultant, instructional designer, and facilitator. Her expertise lies in providing customized learning solutions to enhance performance in communication, teamwork, and management. In addition to serving in senior training and human resources roles at BayBank, N.A. and BankBoston, N.A., she has collaborated with clients in human resources, financial services, retail, technology, government services, manufacturing, and education. Ilana has a B.S. from the University of New Hampshire and an M.S. from Lesley University. |

Patricia AllenPatricia Allen is an innovative educator with extensive experience in English composition and oral communication. In addition to her job as an English professor at Cape Cod Community College, Trish serves as a curriculum developer for CMI’s business writing programs. Additionally, Trish works with CMI clients in conducting classroom training sessions. Trish earned an Ed.M. from Harvard University Graduate School of Education and an A.B. degree from Wellesley College. |
